Deluxe Lens Implants
Premium IOL’s can be used at the time of cataract surgery
We’ve got the latest, safest, most proven lens implants to treat your cataract and give you back the vision that you thought was long gone- near, far and even in-between! The right technology and Dr. Fuerst’s surgical experience will help you turn back the clock when it comes to your vision.
Nine out of ten patients will live free of glasses.
Traditional monofocal lens implants -the standard in cataract care- leave most patients dependent upon glasses for near and/or distance activities after their cataract surgery. But thanks to new technologies, our cataract patients have an even greater chance of living completely free of glasses.
Dr. Fuerst is one of the most experienced providers in the region when it comes to the full range of FDA-approved “multifocal” and “accommodating” lens implants. This means that we can choose the best lens implant for your eye condition and lifestyle. To achieve the very best vision outcome possible, we use sophisticated diagnostic equipment to assure that the correct lens is selected for each eye, each with the correct lens power.
Currently, there are three deluxe lens implants available, which can be implanted during your cataract surgery: These procedures have undergone extensive clinical trials and have been used worldwide for several years. Still, it should be noted that while these results have been excellent, everyone’s eyes are different and results may vary.
Crystalens® - See near, far and in between
Image
Crystalens is an intraocular lens implant that provides a continuous range of near, intermediate and distance vision.
· It’s designed to duplicate the functioning of your natural lens.
· It reduces or eliminates the need for bifocals and reading glasses.
· It works naturally with your eyes’ muscles, giving you the quality of vision you enjoyed when you were younger.
· In FDA-supervised trials, 98% of patients who received Crystalens could perform near tasks and see at-distance without glasses, and 100% could function adequately at computer distance without glasses.
ReZoom™ - Five Focusing Zones
Image
ReZoom™ is a multifocal intraocular lens implant that has five distinct vision zones.
· Each zone is designed for specific light conditions and distances, including a zone for the low light and distance associated with night driving.
· In FDA- supervised clinical trials, 92% of patients reported that they never, or only occasionally, wore glasses after their ReZoom™ cataract surgery.
ReSTOR®- Focusing Light on the Retina

AcrySof® ReSTOR® is a revolutionary intraocular lens implant designed to focus light correctly on the retina for images at various distances.
-
It manages light delivered to the retina, distributing the appropriate amount of light to near and distant focal points, regardless of the lighting, thereby resulting in an increased range of vision.
-
In FDA-supervised clinical trials, 80% of patients who received AcrySof® ReSTOR® lens implants in both eyes reported never wearing glasses again.
-
94% of the patients were so satisfied with their new quality vision that they would have the AcrySof® ReSTOR® IOL implanted again.
AcrySof® Toric® is used to correct astigmatism.
-
Provides a high degree of accuracy in correcting astigmatism, optimizing distance visual acuity.
-
Spectacles are needed for near tasks in most cases.
